The Pan Am Boxing Club Inc. is committed to working in partnership with individuals, families, government agencies, private sector and community organizations through the sport of Boxing, to develop one’s personal “character”, physical + mental, in a very positive supportive club that very clearly promotes complete honesty, strong work ethic, teamwork and clean healthy lifestyles.

Specifically we:

  • Are committed to providing a safe environment that supports physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals to develop them to their maximum potential. 
  • Provide top quality, committed boxing coaches/mentors with specific boxing programs (competitive + non-competitive) to all participants regardless of financial status.   
  • Provide community focused recreational and competitive amateur boxing programming aimed at meeting the broader community needs of general fitness. 

  • Provide high quality amateur boxing and recreational programs to any individual that is interested in seeking a level of physical fitness.  Our pro social environment is able to compete with the attraction of inner city gangs or other negative affiliations and provide a viable alternative activities.   
  • Actively promote a non-harassment policy and accommodate the specific needs of female participants.

Club History

Pam Am Boxing:

  • Pan Am Boxing has been in existence for over 39 year
  • Created shortly after the Pan Am Games in Winipeg in 1968
  • Focuses on health and fitness through training as a boxer and promotes the competitive boxing
  • Plays an active role in the community by providing boxing programs to inner city youth in cooperation with municipal youth centers and religious organizations
  • Operarates solely on its volunteer members
  • Hosts ongoing amateur boxing sporting events with participants from other Canadian Provinces and the United States
  • Is involved in promoting professional boxing through affiliated programs
