LET THE GAMES BEGIN
Fight Games is a 5-week competitive program designed to test individual and team toughness. Each week is dedicated to a specific training focus where competitors will push themselves to develop their skills and endurance. Athlete vs athlete, team vs team, competitors will put that training to the test in weekly battle competitions.
Both an individual and team competition, 1 team, 1 female, and 1 male will be declared victorious at the end of the program.
The program and is open to all PABC members over the age of 18 with at least 1-month of boxing training experience. Competitors will be required to complete a MABA recreational membership.
Competitors will be grouped into teams, by weight class – light, middle, and heavy – and gender. Coaches will build their teams comprised of male and female competitors of each weight class. Throughout the program, coaches will motivate, train, and develop their athletes.
Each week training focuses will be driven by boxing fundamentals. Special Fight Games classes will be added to the training schedule to further challenge competitors. In addition to class training, coaches will develop additional training based on their team's needs.
Each week, competitors are required to fulfill a certain amount of classes and compete in battles. At the end of the program, all competitors will be matched against another fighter on an opposing team for a competitive bout.
Fight Games winners will be calculated on a point system. Points are earned in a variety of ways, including:
Improvement in metrics
Individuals with the most accumulated points will be deemed winners. Team champions will be determined based on the composite point score of all team members.
