Pan Am Boxing Club Trainer
Part Time (15–20 hours per week) Monday–Friday. Starting ASAP!
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Boxing Trainer to work with our members, competitive team, corporate groups, and 1on1 clients. This individual will assist classes, lead corporate and private sessions, and work with individual clients in a 1on1 setting. Planning and implementing appropriate session plans that are creative, flexible, and adaptable.
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

Provide high-level customer service.

Communicate with clients to answer questions and schedule sessions.
-
Plan and implement appropriate lesson plans and programs.
-
Provide a safe, positive, and well-managed learning environment for clients.
-
Coach or assist boxing classes, fight team sessions, and 1on1 sessions.
-
Assist with the development, launching, and running of PABC programs.
-
Work with the competitive team coaches and athletes to develop the annual program, team tryouts, and performance analysis.
-
Assist with the planning and organization of Fight Cards in the club.
-
Continue to take ongoing training/coaching opportunities to upgrading coaching lvl.
-
Direct the NEBC staff and program operations.

Other related duties as assigned, varying according to need.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
-
Completion of high school at minimum.
-
Experience sparring, competing, and coaching.
-
An in-depth understanding of the sport and the training demands.
-
Ability to use hand-pads and various boxing implements at a high level.
-
Minimum Lvl 1 certified boxing coach.
-
Customer service and sales skills.
-
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
-
Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
-
Must get a criminal record check & Child abuse registry check.
North End Boxing Club Trainer
Part Time (15–20 hours per week) Monday–Thursday. Starting ASAP.
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

Working with and supervising youth ages 12–17.
-
Completing day to day facility & program operations. Including opening and closing of the facility each shift.
-
Leading boxing classes.
-
Explaining and demonstrating technical instructions and exercises properly, to all skill levels.
-
Facility cleanliness: Ensure facility and equipment is cleaned before and after each training session.
-
Facility maintenance: ensure facility is fully operational (i.e replacing speed bags, remounting heavy bags, replacing shower curtains, changing lights).
-
Customer relations: assisting members, and providing information to new members (tours) relating to the North End Boxing Club programming and or day to day operations.

Ordering of inventory and maintenance of supplies for juice bar, boxing equipment and general club supplies.
-
Establishing and maintaining the North End Boxing Club’s Website and social media presence on a regular basis.

Making connections within the community to expand operations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Completion of high school at minimum, ideally some post secondary education;

Mature, responsible and reliable;
-
The ability to assist or lead a class
-
Past or current teaching & coaching experience;
-
Ability to work with youth of all ages;
-
Understanding of software and computers;
-
Customer service skills;
-
Professional, good communication skills both written and oral;

Preference will be given to candidates who have boxing experience and/or have been a PABC member for at least 6 months. Who are non-smokers and who promote a healthy lifestyle including exercise and good nutrition.
