Recreational
Sparring
What is Rec Sparring?
It is a non-competitive full sparring class for PABC members, men and women, of all skill & fitness levels. Giving the general membership the opportunity to get in the ring without the commitment required when joining the fight team. Using skills you've learned in class and practicing them in controlled full sparring situations. Rec sparring is perfect for members interested in sparring but not competing.

Class will be lead by Dylan with a maximum of 20 participants per session. Members without personal sparring gear are welcome to use the communal fight gear until they purchase their own.
How is Rec Sparring different from Fight Team Sparring?

The main difference between rec sparring and fight team sparring is the intensity of the class/drills. Rec Sparring will have zero tolerance for participants throwing heavy punches, being unable to control themselves, and/or not listening to the coach's commands. Offenders will be removed from class. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned from participating in rec sparring classes.
When will classes start?
Rec Sparring classes have been added to the regular class schedule and will be offered on an ongoing basis.
Current class schedule:
-
Monday 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
-
Wednesday 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
