
Youth Boxing
The Pan Am Boxing Club youth program is an affordable way to learn the sport of boxing, improve fitness, self-confidence, and meet other youth. At Pan Am we offer a youth class for all genders all year long free of charge! We are also host various camps and extra pop-up classes. See below for more information!
junior CLASS
AGES 10-13
(All Genders)
Wednesdays (all-year)
4:45–5:30 PM
Ages: 10-13
Cost: Free!
Requirements: Pre-registration, waiver signed by legal guardian & own gloves
Location: sign-in at the main front desk at PABC, walk over to Pan Am Place gym.

Youth learn boxing basics such as stance, basic punches, footwork, and movement. The classes are non-contact and do not involve any sparring. Workouts can include anything from cardio calisthenics, shadow boxing, bag work, partner drills, hand pads, and core strengthening. Not only will classes improve overall strength and endurance, but it is also great for developing self-esteem, confidence, and discipline.

This boxing-focused bootcamp incorporates strength and conditioning, core work, cardio, agility, heavy bags, hand pads, and more. Warm-ups and cool-downs are incorporated to encourage prep and recovery. It's an action-packed hour from Monday to Friday! No prior boxing experience required!

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or are just getting into exercise, challenge yourself with this great opportunity!

Bring completed waiver on first visit

Arrive at the gym 15–20 minutes prior to class time to get ready for class. A parent or guardian must sign the waiver. That's all that is needed to join and start training!

Those that are late will be instructed to attend the next available class. We are centrally located in downtown Winnipeg so please take traffic and parking into consideration for your commute.

Equipment
​
Participants must bring a change of clothes, runners, and a water bottle. Members must have their own boxing gloves to participate in Wednesday classes (Please label with your name).

Pan Am Boxing has a Boxing Kit for $80 (Gloves, Hand Wraps and Skipping rope)
